About
Hello! I’m a Boston-based digital creative and a graduate of Boston University's College of Communication where I received a B.S. in Journalism with a concentration in photojournalism and a minor in Political Science with concentrations in human rights and the environment.
For two years, I worked as a multidisciplinary political contractor on several progressive campaigns up and down the ballot in Massachusetts including, Senator Ed Markey’s 2020 reelection campaign and David Halbert’s Boston City Councilor At-Large campaign. Last fall, I interned in Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley’s Hyde Park District Office where I was able to further hone my skills in political communication and constituent service.
With my formal journalism training, I wrote for the Somerville Journal and the Daily Hampshire Gazette about Climate Change, Sustainable Transportation, and Right to Repair. My stories are featured in: POLITICO Massachusetts Playbook, MassInsider, Worcester Telegram and Gazette, Greenfield Recorder, Amherst Bulletin, and BU News Service.
As a photographer, I have shot for the Somerville Journal, BU News Service, ACLU Massachusetts, and the Daily Free Press where I served as Photo Editor. My photography has been recognized 14 times by the BPPA’s College Photojournalism Contest, and I have won four first-place prizes in the contest’s News, Feature, and Story categories.
Right now, I’m the Social Media & Digital Communications Specialist at Action for Boston Community Development, an anti-poverty non-profit that serves over 100,000 Greater Boston residents. At ABCD, I create content for and manage all social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. In collaboration with other departments and members of the Public Information team, I work to conceptualize, create, run, and analyze both paid and organic social media campaigns to promote ABCD programs to the greater public. As a digital specialist, I also ensure the ABCD website and program microsites are in line with SEO best practices.
I am always willing to use my experience working as a journalist, photographer, and digital consultant to help progressive politicians and advocacy organizations with multimedia projects, so don’t hesitate to get in touch!
